What owners wrote

I had an accident in the snow and slid into the guardrail while turning. Not much body damage, but the steering completely locked. Was stuck in the road for 2 hours with the police having to block off around me. Had it towed to my mechanic. He could not do anything with it because he said it was electrical and could not clear the code that was coming up and needed to go the dealership.had to have it towed to the dealership. They are replacing the steering.

I had just pulled into a parking space and my check power steering system light came on. I was no longer able to turn the wheel, and therefore, drive the car. I had to have my car towed and was told I needed a new eps system to the tune of $1,550! This has been a very common problem with this vehicle and I feel it should have been recalled! Fortunately, for me, I was not driving while it happened. So many others have had this happen while driving, which is extremely dangerous!
