I’m reaching out regarding a serious vehicle incident that occurred in September 2024 involving my 2024 Acura ZDX. The vehicle i am leasing, accelerated forward into our property under circumstances that remain unclear and crashed into our garage, tearing down approximately half of the structure. During the event, the vehicle struck my girlfriend, causing her to sustain significant injuries, including a fractured femur, fractured tailbone, and a T12 compression fracture.
The contact owns a 2024 Acura ZDX. The contact stated that while driving at slow speeds and driving over a bump or an object in the roadway, the brake pedal would depress to the floorboard. The contact stated that upon approaching an object once the brakes had failed, the Automatic Emergency Braking system would activate, and the ABS and traction control warning lights would illuminate on the instrument panel.
