Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler 300. The contact stated that the gear shifter lever failed to operate unless the shifter cover was removed and the cable was loosened. When driving in cold weather temperatures, the transmission would cause the vehicle to jerk with hesitation. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id numbers 05v460000 (power train:automatic transmission); however the vehicle was not included in the recall. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for repair.

While driving app 55 MPH at app 8pm at night my cars lights and all the dash lights went out and the car completely stalled. I was able to turn on flashers and coast the car to the side of the road. I sat there for several minutes and then the car restarted. Fortunately there was no one following behind me. I have been out of town on business and used a company car. Upon my return I took my car to our local shop today.
