While stopping at red light, was propelled upon impact into intersection, during rear end collision driver's seat back rest broke then collapsed rearward, driver lost control of vehicle.
Chrysler concorde 1994, 3.5l v6. Bought new. May 1999, found two long narrow pieces of plastic material in the footwell behind the driver?s seat. Chrysler service couldn't identify. 6 sept. 2000, chrysler dealership executed recall # 883, replaced slides which had broken away from driver?s seat. April 2004, lost horizontal motion of driver?s seat adjustment. Found the slides were assembled so tightly they destroyed the screw actuators due to overload.
