Tl*the contact owns a 2005 chrysler crossfire roadster. While driving 30 MPH, the rear window fell out of the liner. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that the roof needed to be replaced. The part for the repair is currently on backorder and could be unavailable for more than a year. The estimated repair cost was $2,000. The contact will notify the manufacturer. The current and failure mileages were 22,800. Updated 07/17/09 updated 07/20/09.
2 days ago, it was hott here in vegas, my car is garage kept but had to park outside. When I returned to my car after about an hour, the black glass in the convertible top just fell out. It is unsafe to drive like this but I have no choice as the tops are on backorder and I am not sure if I will ever get one. I currently have to big blankets on the deck holding it in place as part of the seal is holding, but this will not last long.
