When filling the fuel tank of this vehicle, the fuel tank accepts only a very small amount of gasoline at a time, approximately one-tenth of a gallon at a time. Although the gas tank on the car is far from full, the person fueling the tank then continues to squeeze the handle on the gasoline spigot, but the tank rejects the gasoline and the gasoline spills out onto the car body, the person and the ground beneath the vehicle.
