What owners wrote

On march 18, 2007 while being driven on a secondary road, our 2010 dodge journey, class 1b3h80100, began having some sort of electrical problem, dashboard warning lights came on, interior light started going off and on, and then the vehicle cut off entirely. In addition, the brakes don't seem to be functioning correctly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer with 3 separate recall/warranty notices found which appear to cover brakes, dashboard lights and most importantly, the starter issue.

This car is six years old and I have now had to replace brake pads and rotors three times. Each time the technician indicates that there is minimal brake pad left and the rotors are rusted, pitted and overheated. They recommend in each case that the the repair is a safety concern. What I have read online from other journey owners is that the brakes are woefully inadequate for the vehicle size and weight. It is time that chrysler repair this once and for all.
