What owners wrote

In an open asphalt parking lot with no dividers or potholes or any surface material other than painted line, while driving about ~ 15 miles/hour I proceeded to make a left turn. I turned the wheels hard to the left when I felt like my vehicle hit something and the air bag deployed. Upon coming to my senses and outside inspection of the vehicle, the left front wheel assembly came off the structural members which hold it to the axle/frame. Two of the members had broken.

On saturday june 6, 2009 my wife was driving our 2005 dodge magnum and as she was turning, the steering wheel locked in place. Luckily she didn't hit anyone or anything. She wrestled with the steering wheel and was able to get it to move again and drove straight home. I took it to the local dodge dealer and they informed me that is was a "clock spring" which is attached to the airbag in the steering column. It had broke and lodged in the steering column causing the steering wheel to lock up.
