December 2018 CrashInjury

I own a 2010 dodge ram slt. I recently had it in to have the rear axle pinion nut replaced and was told I have bad tie rod ends. At 46,000 miles I found this hard to believe. After further investigation it was accurate that my tie rod ends were bad. I replaced both tie rod ends at 46,000 miles. Then had to pay for an alignment of course. This is a huge concern for me because I transport my children to and from school daily. How is it possible that at 46,000 miles my tie rod ends need replacement.
