2019 Genesis G70 fuel system problems

Since it was new, my 2019 Genesis G70 Twin Turbo with AWD has had occasional long hesitation (it happens every couple of days) when I step on the gas, lasting anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds. It happens from a stop, and also at times when the car is going 5-10 mph. The motor has been fully warmed up when this happens. When you step on the gas, the motor is still running but there is no response, no increase in engine rpm, then after a hesitation of up to 10 seconds, it kicks in with a sudden surge of speed.

The contact owns a 2019 Genesis G70. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. In addition, the contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed with fuel pump failure; however, the contact was informed that the parts were not available to repair the vehicle.
