Vehicle was north bound on sc hwy 101, 1-mile south of sc hwy 414. Crossed south bound lane into shoulder of the road- on into small brush and trees. Driver side undercarriage was torn away, with tire/wheel/hub 50 feet behind vehicle, shock/coil spring 20 feet behind and left of vehicle. Driver door window completely shattered with door hinges torn away. Windshield shattered on driver side. Seat belt locked driver firmly in seat. Air bags did not deploy!
