What owners wrote
Tailgate releases on its own while parked, without the use of the switch. Tailgate released on its own with my trailer attached while parked on many occasions. The result of the Tailgate releasing caused damage to the upper section of the Tailgate, the "kicker speaker system" in the Tailgate and Tailgate switch located on the upper section of the Tailgate. There also have been multiple times when attaching the trailer that the Tailgate has released and struck me in the head.
Brand new truck. Stuck at the gym in the middle of the night truck wont start. The interior lights, head lights, and radio wont shut off. Vehicle wont start. I'm assuming the battery was drained because interior lights, exterior lights, radio, wont shut off. Has to be some kind of electrical malfunction. Waiting on GM roadside.
