What owners wrote

Purchased 2006 h3 with 58k on it. At 61k the A/C blower would increase in speed for no reason then go back to its setting. At 62k it stopped blowing for no reason. Online search of h3 A/C blower issues gave me a place to start looking. Fuse was ok, checked resistor pack (pn 11221007.011) under dash and found pin "a" melted with sign of recent electrical fire due to shorting out. The orange connector on the harness was also melted. Further online research of this issue revealed that it is a "common occurrence".

Blower motor for HVAC stopped working. A/C compressor kicks on, but no air flow or fan noise. Found resistor and wiring harness behind glove box burned out and melted. Part numbers affected: 12059296 and 10397098 resistor. This is a fire hazard!! Come on, GM!!
