What owners wrote
On december 5th, 2020 at approximatly 0645am I was driving my elantra without and iissues or pre-indicators that something very bad was about to happen. I was on a busy road that is traveled all times of the day, getting on interstate 270 in columbus headed west. I estimate (picture included from accident site and where the freeway started) about 1000 feet until I merge onto the well traveled highway.
Its been happening since the cold weather hit the area. I was driving on ice and went to turn and the eps light came on and my electronic assist steering went out, or got hard to steer. Its almost caused an accident but my evasive maneuvering I managed to get the car over to the side of the roadway..I shut the car off to reset the eps and I went off.
