The contact stated that the gear selector was placed into the park position; however, the warning light displayed that the gear was not which made it impossible for the automatic doors to lock. The failure occurred intermittently. The "park" warning indicator would correct itself after the vehicle was in operation or when the engine was turned off. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis.
My 2011 hyundai sonata transmission went after 2 months. The rpms went haywire and it switch gears. I took it to the dealership and changed the transmission. I hope this doesn't happen again. However I 'm finding alot on the internet in reference to this issue.
