What owners wrote
While back out of my driveway in my 2016 hyundai tucson, it suddenly accelerated on its own out of control rendering me helpless and just along for the ride. Finally stopped while in reverse the car went across the street crashing violently into my neighbors boat and engine was still reving until I shut it off after the crash. Both my car and neighbors boat had major damage.
This SUV is incredibly dangerous. The dct(dual clutch transmission) does not engage correctly and will buck and stall when trying to accelerate from a slow down or stop.I have had to slam my foot on the gas and it will still not engage timely or safely. It was brought in for a recall but the issue continues . The dealership states there is no other fix for this.
