I experienced an oil leak from the top of the engine @ approximately the 90,000 mile mark. I recently had this fixed by ray fladeboe isuzu (irvine, ca.). The receipt describes the problem as: replacing the v.c. Gasket, oil leaks from engine, replaced valve cover gasket. After having this done, I researched the internet for any isuzu engine recalls. I came across "NHTSA campaign I.d. # 94v132000. This discusses a recall due to an engine oil leak (however it seems that it may only apply to the trooper).
