What owners wrote
This intermittent problem could cause someone to get injured if they are in freeway traffic and the vehicle will only go 25 MPH!!! This vehicle has an intermittent problem of stalling when stopped at intersections (vehicle is idling). The car can be resstarted immediatly. However, after starting it has little power and the maximum speed is 25 MPH. Both the "check engine" and the "reduced power warning indicator lights" come on. It has been to two dealers a total of 6 times and they have not resolved the problem.
Car has lost power and gas mileage has been cut in half (maybe 12 mpg at best) has only 39000 miles...dealer says the tubes that recycle un-burned gas fumes are clogged and need cleaning but they nor isuzu has a tool to do the job...it's hard to believe that a huge company like isuzu would have such a problem.
