Reported at 65,000 miles, June 2012 CrashFireInjury

Loss of engine oil pressure while driving on the highway caused the engine to seize. A porous timing cover caused the bearings to wear out requiring an engine replacement at only 100,000 miles. Jeep/chrysler is aware of its porous timing cover, and published TSB 09-008-07. The company should pay for replacement of this engine.
