What owners wrote

"takata recall". My kia has been recalled several times, the motor has been recalled twice. The second time, I had my family with me going to arkansas, and the car stalled as we were going through a stop light, another vehicle almost hit us. I have lost wages from work, lost time waiting to get my vehicle fixed, it has caused stress and anxiety and right now I just got three more recall letters in the mail. These cares are unsafe, but unfortunately it is my only means of transportation.

Reported at 35,000 miles, February 2017 Fire

While I went on the highway the acceleration felt very sluggish and had a hard time speeding up to the speed limit. The car only got worse as I went on a street and it felt as though it did not want to go, like it lost most of its power. Turns out something is wrong with the engine but I feel that my car should be under a newer recall but isn't, as smoke was coming out of the exhaust and the engine light wasn't even on.
