What owners wrote

Front driver side control arm covered under recall but not replaced broke while driving, causing the axle and other front suspension parts to break, causing the front wheel to point outwards in opposite directions, and the vehicle to come to a screeching stop, from 30 MPH. Vehicle was taken to kia dealer in 2013 after receiving real notice about front control arm and was told the part was fine and did not need replacing.

Reported at 235,000 miles, April 2017 CrashInjury

One of the control arms rusted completely and broke while driving. Because of this we have inspected the other control arms and they were all rusted to the point that it made the car unsafe to drive and they have been replaced. Now the car will not start periodically. I have researched and many other owner of the same make and model are having this same issue due to the anti theft device.
