Around June of this year, my engine light came on. I took it to my technician, who cleared the code. After an accident on 7/4/23, and after picking the car up from being repaired, the engine light came on again. It is a code that indicates there is a "Cracked or faulty turbo charger". Extensive research has shown this to be a manufacturing defect, which can cause catastrophic failure.
While driving at approximately 10 MPH in city traffic an error light indicating "gear box fault" appeared followed by numerous other warnings. The vehicle shut off and coasted to a stop. The vehicle was towed to the dealer for service, after 26 days in service and 80 miles driven by a service technician the dealer continues to tell me they have no idea what the problem is. They indicated that the computer reports indicate a major problem occured but they are unable to recreate it.
