The mechanic stated that the intake manifold assembly was fractured and would have to be replaced. The mechanic stated there was a recall for the engine and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer advised the contact, that the VIN was not included in the recall. The recall was a voluntary manufacturer's recall.
