Both air bags failed to open upon rear end impact on december, 23, 1996; both air bags opened without impact causing teenage driver to crash into a parked vehicle.
The consumer stated while traveling and without any indication, the vehicle hit a curve and the front air bags deployed. When the air bags deployed, they destroyed the steering wheel, passenger dashboard, passenger sun visor, and the windshield. The vehicle was recalled for the air bag sensor. The consumer felt he shouldn't be responsible for the repair(s). *scc
