What owners wrote

My wife was driving when she smelled something burning and then felt something burning, she pulled over and jumped out to check and found the seat warmer had malfunctioned and burned through the back portion of the seat. Her shirt had a slight burn to it and smoke covered interior of the car. The hole in the seat is about the size of a cigarette burn but deeper. She took it to the import repair shop who disconnected the power source wire to the seat heater for safety.

I was driving home from work on a freeway traveling at about 65MPH. All of sudden, my car starting to slow and decelerated which I pulled my ehicle over to the emergency lane where it stalled. The car wouldn't start after that and I can smell the burning from the under the hood. I got it towed to a mercedes specialist shop. The shop reported that there was a fire inside the air intake manifold that caused damage to other components as well which was very unusual.
