What owners wrote

I was driving the car to my desired destination when all of a sudden the car started to smell like something was burning. When the passenger when to check, while we where waiting for the light to change, she noticed that fire was coming from under the hood. All we could do was get out of the car and take the kids out when the fire started to get bigger. A man who was near the place help controlling the fire with some extinguishers until the firemen arrived.

I received a recall notice for the drive belt, however, the dealer stated that the parts are on back order. I explained that the car is making a noise and I am concerned about the safety of driving the car. Their response is that I should bring the car in to get looked at. This now involves me having to take time off from work so that I can take it there which is about 40 minutes from my home. If it is the drive belt, there is nothing they can do anyway.
