What owners wrote
I purchased my car, used, from nissan of canton (michigan), on sept. 23, 2016 where there were no disclosures of any safety concerns due to structural or other concerns. On march 15, 2018, the right rear of car made a metal snapping sound and began driving poorly so I took the car to an ase certified mechanic who found "the rear frame has rotted out where the torsion arm mounts to the crossmember".
My friend's daughter was driving my car on a side street and suddenly was unable to control the car nearly going into a ditch. She said the car was was swerving uncontrollably. She did what she could to control the vehicle, and nearly spun in a circle, and went into a ditch. Pulled herself out of the ditch, the steering wheel seemed to be completely unaligned. The wheel was turned left, almost upside down, when she was slowly trying to drive straight, and she heard something dragging under the car.
