Reported at 46,126 miles, May 2011 Injury

Vehicle lost power on highway in rainstorm. Were able to steer to side of road. Upon inspection by a mechanic, we discovered the ECM (computer) to be extremely corroded. We had it replaced for $1100.00. There was no nearby nissan dealer, but the master mechanic who replaced the part did order it from nissan. They would not honor the warranty, as the part was not installed by the dealer. I visited a site, questdriver.com where I found several similar complaints regarding 2004-2006 nissan quests.
