What owners wrote

Two months prior to burn out, vehicle was taken to local nissan dealership for CVT fluid flush. Was not aware of recall until after incident occurred, after contacting nna. Also was experiencing loss of power when driving up hills or speeds above 70 MPH. I mentioned to dealership, they advised to get CVT tranny fluid flushed and refilled. Recall was never addressed to me at previous nissan service visits.

Power train failure!! Death risk!! While on a road trip, my car completely lost power. My family and I were in complete danger. After driving about 50 miles, I lost all speed at the el cajon pass (15 fwy north, heading towards victorvile, ca). I was driving at an uphill incline when I noticed my speed was decreasing and I begain to make my way to the right. The far right lane, the "slow lane" is used by semi- trucks and even though they travel at at slow speeds they were traveling at a much higher speed.
