Tl* the contact owns a 2010 nissan sentra. The contact was driving 20 MPH, the contact saw smoke emitting from under the hood. The contact pulled off road and then the entire vehicle became engulfed in flames. The police and fire department were called to extinguish the fire and a report was filed. The vehicle was not repaired and was destroyed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the incident. The approximate failure mileage was 37,000.
Started back in the beginning of 2019. I noticed that the oil has been going down and no external leak. I have to put 1/2 a quart of oil a week into the engine at this point. I have noticed that there are others that are having the same issue with no resolve from nissan.
