What owners wrote
Was going down a s curve roadway and hit a patch of water, hydroplaned off the roadway and down an embankment. There was heavy damage to the front end of the vehicle and no damage to the sides, however, the front driver and passenger airbag did not deploy only the side airbags. Serious injuries to the driver with a brain bleed and abrasion from hitting the steering wheel.
Takata recall- when in a collision in my car there was no reason my air bags wouldn't have gone off. I am in pain from this wreck and my air bags did not go off. If there is enough damage to total put a new car; it should have triggered the airbags.
