1999 oldsmobile intrigue-oil leak -I went out to start my car last winter and when I started the car I heard a loud pop and smoke started billowing out of the engine I was 7 months pregnant at the time and called the fire department but by the time they arrived at the house the engine fire was out of control and the car was totaled. I would like compensation for the damages since my car insurance did not cover the fire.
Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle would not start. While examining the engine, exhaust fumes shot out into the contact's face. There was a recall #98v241000 regarding the engine and engine cooling:cooling system:hose. The dealer was contacted who determined the vehicle was not included in a recall due to the VIN. The vehicle has not been examined or repaired.
