Ea97005, safety belt anchorage failure. When vehicle was involved in a crash the hook the holds the safety belt released and daughter was throw from seat. Vehicle was purchased in mar of 93. Not sure if spring clip is broken. Vehicle at dealer because of accident.
The drivers side seat belt buckle became unfastened while driving. There was a recall for this problem ( recall no.#97v148000 seat belt system ) but the vehicle identification number was not apart of the recall. The manufacturer was aware of the problem.
