Consumer was driving 25 MPH when she noticed smoke coming from windshield defroster. It was hot enough to burn her fingers when she touched windshield. After a couple of minutes, windshield cracked, 3 cracks about 1 foot long. Dealer stated defroster was faulty, and needed to be replaced.
Windshield wipers go on and off at random. It can be one time or several times. It is very inconvenient. This has been going on since we purchased the used vehicle in 2000.
