What owners wrote
My 2000 chrysler grand voyager's engine burst into flames and almost the whole front end of my car, including my dash board and part of my front seats were burned up. The windshield and the windows on the passenger and driver's side in the front blew out. I suffered from smoke inhalation and did end up going to the emergency room. I also have pulled something in my back and arms that has made my arms from the elbows to the hands go painfully numb and prickly.
This letter is regarding a manufacturer defect in the 2000 plymouth grand voyager and 2000 chrysler town and country vans. There is an issue with the vehicles in wet weather. When it rains and the driver goes through water, the vehicles shut themselves down completely. Lights turn off, power steering is arrested, and the driver has to coast to a stop.
