What owners wrote
I called our insurance company usaa and they said that they have had a number of chysler minivans come out of park. In my case the van was in the garage and my son was letting the dog out and the car rolled out of the garage nearly over hoi crashed through a fence onto a nieghbors vehicle I have had it towed to the dealership. The car had been parked for 6 hours as an automatic it has to be fully in park to get the key out. I am getting the run around from the dealer.
Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle was purchased two weeks ago and the transmission failed. The transmission began to make a banging noise while driving at 50 MPH. When the vehicle was moved off the road and placed into park, the gear position indicator shifted out of park . However, the vehicle would not move in either direction. The dealership was contacted, and they determined the transmission needed to be replaced.
