What owners wrote
Gas leaking from the area near the fuel tank was noticed when the car was parked in a garage. Previous to that the car was parked in a apartment parking lot, so the gas leak may have exisited days earlier. Luckily there were no injuries or fires because of this before it was detected. The car was towed to the dealership and they replaced the whole fuel tank and seal. Gas was apparently leaking from a seam in the fuel tank.
I notice the smell of gas on my drive way, after a few days I notice it was coming from the vehicle. I noticed it would only do it when I parked forward (so the cars front end was inclined) I thought it was coming from the clamp, I tighten the clamed. Did not work. Took it to a mechanic and said it was the seal around the tank but there is no way to fix it with a patch. We noticed this about a few days ago and are waiting to see if a recall letter we received was the one for the gas tank. Cross our fingers!
