What is wrong
Vehicle description: sport utility vehicles. Under certain conditions, a front sway bar link can fracture.
The risk
Vehicle handling could be affected, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will replace both the left and right front sway bar links.

Owner notification began december 15, 2000. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact ford at 1-[removed].also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-DOT (1-[removed]).
