What is wrong
Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2019 G550 vehicles. The fuel tank may not have been welded properly during manufacturing, which could result in a fuel leak.
The risk
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of fire.
The fix
Dealers will replace the fuel tank, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 3, 2021. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-[removed].
