What is wrong
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2023 Cadillac XT5, XT6, and GMC Acadia vehicles. The certification label located on the driver's side B-pillar contains tire size information that may be illegible. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
The risk
Illegible tire size information may result in the wrong tires being installed, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix
Dealers will replace the vehicle certification label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 12, 2022. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-[removed] or GMC customer service at 1-[removed]. GM's number for this recall is N222381690.
Notes from the manufacturer
