What is wrong
Vehicle description: passenger vehicles. The fuel rail crossover hose was damaged during fuel rail assembly allowing fuel leakage.
The risk
Fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source can result in fire.
The fix
Dealers will replace the fuel rail with a revised fuel rail assembly.

Owner notification is expected to begin november 16, 1998. Owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact ford at 1-[removed].also contact the national highway traffic safety administration's auto safety hotline at 1-888-dash-2-DOT (1-[removed]).
