What owners wrote

I purchased my ascent on november 29, 2019. By december 8, I had two cracks in the windshield. I live in a small town, and was driving less than 45MPH when both of these chips occurred. One was (according to safelite) too small to repair. The other one was repaired on 12/10. By january 2, the crack that was repaired has reappeared. Safelite does not guarantee their work, and now I will have to spend a fortune and use my deductible to replace the windshield on a brand new vehicle.

Within a seven month period and while my car had under 10,000 miles on it, I've had to replace the windshield twice. Both times a pea size chip had progressed into a 12-18 inch crack within a hour while the car was parked. Both times I was driving on the same city highway at speeds at/under 60 MPH and was hit with common highway gravel.
