What owners wrote
While leaving work I was shifting out of 1st gear and while going into second gear the bike popped out of second gear and made a loud grinding noise. After it popped out of gear I had to put my foot down in order to keep from falling over cause I was in the middle of a turn when this happened. When I put my foot down I twisted my knee.
I have a 2006 m109r that has a major defect in the powertrain. This bike only have a little over 5,000 miles on it and it tends to fall out of second gear back into neutral. This is very unsafe and could very well cause you to loose control of the bike. There has been a number of people that I have come across with the same issue. Suzuki needs to address a recall concerning this issue before someone gets hurt or killed.
