What owners wrote
2000 toyota camry. Consumer writes in regards to being rear ended and months later after the accident, when she turned a corner the doors would unlock and the light in the ceiling would come on and lights on dash showed doors opened *tgw the consumer stated she suffered extensive injuries, but there was little damage to the vehicle.
I have owned this car for about 5 years; my grandfather gave it to me, so it's only had two owners. Low miles (80,000). I am replacing the driver's exterior door handle for the third time and passenger's exterior for the second time. The exterior handles merely snap off. I wish toyota would offer replacement handles made of metal rather than plastic. This may eliminate the problem. The state I live in requires a yearly vehicle inspection and due to the broken handles, my car failed yesterday.
