What owners wrote
Told by toyota dealer at 15000k that I needed to replace the tires on my 2011 toyota sienna van. I do not abuse my vehicle and never had a new vehicle that needed new tires at 15000k.
Our toyota has only 34,900 miles on it. On 4/13/2014 while trying to fill air in the rear passenger tire, the stem valve broke off, literally in two pieces. That was a very dangerous situation and easily could have happened while driving since I didn't exert any pressure while attaching the air hose to it. I called toyota headquarters and spoke to [xxx] who said that since there us no recall on it, its not their problem. So it seems, unless a few people die, they will not move.
