What owners wrote
Accident occured while driving at 65-70 MPH. Driver and passengers were injured, the air bags did not deploy and the seat belts did not tighten up and locked upon the impact. Nlm *slc
Tensioner extremely slow to retract on driver and passenger side of my 2000 toyota tundra sr five four-wheel-drive. Contacted 1-800 toyota number and told it was not a safety issue although I had had it fixed two times under warranty and to get the dealer to fix it although it is very expensive. Why is this not a vehicle safety issue like on my 2007 prius. Why hasn't the very known toyota seat belt tensioner issue on all toyota, alexis, scion vehicles between 2000 and now been recalled.
