This his happened 3 times now. I have been driving on the highway with no cars in front of me in my lane within a quarter mile, and the braking since starts flashing a warning and starts to hard break, it is not only startling but very dangerous. This happened the 3rd time in a year. I usually try to disable it to prevent these issues but it auto turns itself back on every time i start the car so i sometimes forget to turn it off.
I was driving roughly around 25 MPH, when I'd started going into a gradual turn to the right. I'd hit a small pot hole, then my car ended up on the ground. Skidding across the road, and then onto the shoulder. The way it was driving I'd thought my right front tire had came off of the vehicle. But upon first glance it was just a flat tire. Once I had gotten the flat tire off, I'd realized there was a much bigger issue. The right front factory rim, had broken. Horizontally down the center of the rim.
