As I was pulling into a parking space in a shopping plaza, the vehicle suddenly accelerated causing me to hit a parked vehicle about 10 ft to my left. Updated 3/17/2015
Paws rear wheel steering abruptly turns rear wheels when car is going straight. Usually after a turn. This has happened multiple times when driving at moderate speeds over the last year or so. Dealer unable to diagnose problem but installed new steering software that did not fix problem. Car is out of warranty and only dealer solution is to replace the rear steering actuators for approx. $4k but can't be sure this will fix the issue. Since car is out of warranty, I would have to pay.
Car randomly steers itself into oncoming traffic lanes or onto the roadside. Acura dealership has looked at it, repair cost is extremely high. Too dangerous to trust the vehicle with these issues. Lkas, ldw, ACC, brake hold system lights come on and go off. Happens in parking lots, and country roads, on highways. Steering is erratic at all speeds when this occurs, not necessarily over or under 50MPH. Again, this has happened 3 times in a parking lot.
