Takata recall the problem with the takata airbags has been absolutely confirmed for years and this is the first notice from audi in the time we have owned the car (over one year). How is it that they can casually suggest that, "audi recommends avoiding use of the front passenger seat whenever possible until the the recall repair has been performed.", and state that the use may result, "in serious injury or death to vehicle occupants.", without offering an immediate remedy.
Air bag light on, dealer found fault for incorrect signal for drivers side seat belt latch. Also found interntal malfuction with latch. R&I drivers seat and r&r seat belt latch.
