I had stopped at store on way home from work. When I came out of store I noticed smoke coming from under the hood of my car. I popped the hood and saw my engine on fire and proceeded to try and put the fire out. I took my jacket off and started hitting the engine and this burned up my jacket and scorched my hand. An employee from the store came out with a fire extinguisher and put out the fire. The fire department was called but fire was out before they got there.
My 2000 buick regal does great in winter, now in summer, it will just die going down the road. Sometimes you can go to the store go in an come out 30 minutes later or an hour and it wont start, kinda sounds like its out of gas but its not. It turns over but wont start and then if you wait long enough it will start right up????? I have had the fuel pump checked it is fine. It does have a check engine light on and the code reads secondary air malfunction...??? Nay suggestions? Please email me at [xxx]
